Every Friday. $130 per person
Departs from Skipjacks restaurant dock at 7.30 am.
We start at Skipjacks restaurant at 7.30 am. I will have breakfast on board for you. Consisting of a selection of pastries from the French bakery, Baguette, cheese, cream cheese, yogurt , cereals juice and lots of Coffee. We go through the lagoon, the largest in the Caribbean, to be at the French bridge for the 8.15 opening.
Once through the bridge we will put up the main sail, the trip to the island of Tintamarre takes approximately 2 hours, we will be at Tintamarre at 10.30. Tintamarre has a beautiful long white sand beach for us to enjoy. I will ferry umbrellas and a big cooler to the beach on the dingy, as well as any personal items you would like to have on the beach, cameras, etc.
There is an open bar on board all day, consisting of rum punch, beer, wine, vodka, gin and whiskey and soft drinks. Everybody relaxes on the beach, has a swim in the warm Caribbean sea, a very casual atmosphere.
At 1 pm I will have lunch ready for you on the boat. Lunch is a seafood paella, blackened mahi mahi, BBQ ribs, and 4 salads as well as our special garlic bread. We take pride in the quality of the food we prepare.
After lunch we sail back to Creole Rock one of the best snorkeling spots in St Martin. I have new snorkeling equipment on board.
When everybody is on board again, I have a fresh fruit platter for you, pineapple, strawberries, kiwi, grapes. It is a short ride to Happy Bay.
We do a little “frozen drink surprise” on the way to Happy Bay. We used to do the mud baths on Tintamarre, but that is now banned by the French authorities. I have imported my own “mud” and we will do the mud baths at Happy Bay.
There is no road to Happy Bay, you either come by boat or you have to hike across the hill from Friar’s Bay. I have imported my own mud, so I know it is clean. We all swim ashore and get covered in mud on the beach, it is a lot of fun!!!
We leave Happy Bay at 4.45 pm to be back at the French bridge at the 5.30 pm opening. Once through the bridge we do our famous BBC (Baileys, banana and coconut frozen drink) We will be back at Skipjacks at 6pm.
